Aylin Alvarez-Santiago is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and content creator from Cape May, New Jersey, and a proud Mexican American storyteller with a relentless passion for powerful narratives. She recently earned national recognition after winning two College Television Awards — Best in News and the Seymour Bricker Humanitarian Award — for her work on Arizona Stories: Border, Water, and Politics.
Aylin’s creative journey began at just 11 years old at a local film camp, and she's been chasing meaningful stories ever since. She earned her associate degree in Communication from Atlantic Cape Community College, where she was named Communication Major of the Year (2021–2022), then completed her B.A. in Film and Television at Montclair State University.
Whether it’s producing, editing, running social media, or even donning a mascot suit, Aylin brings versatility, heart, and drive to every role she takes on. Now, she’s ready to keep making her mark — creating fresh, impactful stories that center voices, uplift communities, and leave a lasting impression.
